BMOFGPE Central Ontario Chapter - Annual BMO Herongate Luncheon and Barn Theatre

May 14, 2019

Annual BMO HERONGATE LUNCHEON and BARN THEATRE
- THURSDAY, JULY 25th, 2019

It's time again for the annual visit to Herongate. Terry Millar and John Milne have made a booking for this years attraction.

This year our visit is in July as the weekday matinees in June were discontinued this year.  Matinees in June were moved to Sunday.

The play we will be laughing with this year is "Wrong Window". This show pays tribute to the Master of Horror - Alfred Hitchcock with this comedy whodunit. We hope that you will be able to join us this summer at Herongate. Featuring multiple door slammings, body snatching, and a frantic flashlight chase scene. Two questions remain….Who killed Lila Laswald and if she’s not dead…then who is?

“Laughter and suspense combine to make the perfect afternoon at Herongate.”

The arrangements are similar to years past whereby:

- You, the member, calls Herongate direct at   (905) 472-3085 or 1-866-902-9884

- You advise that you are with the BMO Pensioners group and tell them how many seats you are    reserving

- You will need to hold your reservation with a credit card and then you can (ON THAT DAY), July 25th, pay with the card you reserved with, or with cash, or debit

PLEASE NOTE -- All ticket sales are final when individuals call in with their credit card numbers to hold and guarantee.

Arrival is 12.00 – 12.30 pm for dinner and the show begins at 2:00. Soup, salad bar and bar services are available at that time. The hot buffet, desserts, tea and coffee will be ready at 12:15 p.m.

PRICE:  $66.00 per person, (conditional that 15 or more persons reserve otherwise the cost will be the regular price of $72.00 pp)

PLEASE RESERVE WITH HERONGATE by June 21st

Thanks to Gabby Winterstein for the information.

2019 BC Lower Mainland Pensioner’s Golf Tournament

March 5, 2019

altLocation:           Country Meadows Golf Course, 8400 No. 6 Road, Richmond, BC
Date: Thursday, June 6th, 2019
Time: Golf – Tee times starting at 1pm, Dinner – After golf
Cost (approx.):  Dinner and Golf - $65/person, Dinner or Golf only - $35/person

January is over and we are all, no doubt, starting to look forward to those long sunny days and it is a good time to get a head start and register early for our annual Golf “Tournament” for pensioners and friends.  The Texas Scramble format will be used again this year and you may enter as one, two, three players or as a foursome.  We will round out the groups in accordance with your wishes as much as possible.  As always, the main objective is for everyone to have an enjoyable, fun day (skill is not a requirement) with a chance to reconnect with old friends.  Pensioners, spouses, significant others, relatives, friends and active bankers are welcome.

Although we have not yet secured pricing, we anticipate the above noted prices will be close.  We are expecting in the region of 50 golfers and it is important that you indicate your interest as soon as possible to ensure that we can confirm the numbers to the Club in good time.  There are a limited number of golf carts available and anyone requiring one should let us know as soon as possible.

Once again your committee has guaranteed a sunny day and we are looking forward to seeing you there.

To register, contact Allan Miller at aemil@eastlink.ca

Thanks Ron Gilliesfor sharing.
